| | | | | Our shared citizenship programs are implemented in various ways and adapted to the needs of each particular school. MERCHAVIM school support coordinators accompany the schools individually, helping them integrate the programs in the school, providing adequate guidance and solutions – in coordination with the Ministry of Education. | |  | | School support focuses on the following areas: - Thinking about and planning the manner in which the programs are implemented in the particular school, addressing the following issues: target population, themes, hours, and culminating events. - Assistance in thinking about and creating encounters with diverse extra-scholastic populations, including content and pre-encounter preparation for the homeroom team. | |  | | - Possible work with the homeroom: o Introduction to the program o The homeroom as a zone of fairness o Shared citizenship lectures and tours - Assisting teachers in expanding the bank of guided activities and adapting it to the specific needs of classrooms. - Pointing teachers to study materials: guided activities, study aids, stories, reading portions, plays, articles, etc. | |  |
