Management Team and Staff
Esti was born in Mikhmoret, Israel and now lives in Tzur Yitzhak. She has a BA in Sociology and Educational Management, a teaching certificate and MA in Labour Studies from Tel Aviv University.
Esti previously worked in the field of educational management and training development as part of the IDF Education Corps. Esti joined Merchavim in 2005.
Director of Civil Society Programs
Esther holds a BA in Law and an MA in Public Policy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has worked in various positions in the civil society organizations, including: Legal Advisor at the Israel Women’s Network, Director of Bimkom – Planners for Planning Rights, Program Manager at Yad Hanadiv, and until recently Director of Bizchut – The Human Rights Center for People with Disabilities in Israel.
Esther lives in Jerusalem and is the parent of two daughters. She began working at Merchavim in 2017.
Director of Educational Programming
Ronit was born in Haifa, Israel and now makes her home in Tel Aviv – Jaffa. She holds a BA in teaching biology and chemistry from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University in education. Ronit previously established and managed (in the role of Principal) an independent junior high school. She has rich experience in Arab teacher integration in Jewish schools in addition to work with students with special needs in the public education system. Ronit joined Merchavim in 2015.
Tamara Klinger Levi
Director of Resource Development
Tamara was born in Montreal, Canada and makes her home on Kibbutz Sha’ar Ha’amakim, She made Aliyah in 1982 and joined the IDF. Tamara has a BA and MA Sociology and is a Registered Nurse. She has rich experience in the Jewish/Israeli non-profit world (including roles at the University of Haifa, Taglit-Birthright, Nefesh B’Nefesh) and in health services. Tamara joined the Merchavim team in 2014.
Business Development Facilitator
Ben was born in Haifa and currently lives in Tel Aviv. He holds a BA in Business Administration from The College of Management Academic Studies, has training in psychology and experience in business-social entrepreneurship. Ben has worked intensively in training and coaching managers in the business/social sectors in: effective management, entrepreneurship and innovation, improving processes and increasing social impact. Ben joined Merchavim as Business Development Facilitator in 2016.
Head of Arab Teacher Integration
Kamal was born in Yafo, Israel and continues to line in Yafo. He holds a BA in Political Science. He is an experienced group leader and has extensive experience in leading empowerment groups and Arabic/Jewish leadership development. He previously served as the Chairperson of the Student Council of Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Currently, he serves as the Chairperson of the Ajami neighborhood of Yafo. Kamal specializes in the process of instruction and preparation for cross-cultural integration of Arab teachers in Jewish schools. He joined Merchavim in 2004.

Educational Programming Coordinator Center/South
Nati was born in Israel, Kfar HaNagid and today, makes his home in the Shapira neighborhood of Tel Aviv. He holds a BA in Behavioral Sciences from Ben Gurion University, and an MA in Humanities from the Kibbutzim College. Nati previously worked in the field of supervision and treatment of at-risk youth as part of a youth protection project, and provided long-term accompaniment and direction to young people without family support at the ‘Lamerhav’ nonprofit. Nati joined Merchavim in 2016.

Kulanana Educational Coordinator
Tali was born in Haifa, Israel and makes Haifa her home today. She is a group facilitator and mediator. Tali holds a BA in Political Science and MA in Management and Conflict Resolution from the University of Haifa. Previously she served as a teacher and lecturer on citizenship mediation and conflict resolution in communities and educational settings. Tali has extensive experience in leading groups of women and conflict groups. She joined Merchavim in 2007.
Aviva was born in Beit Shemesh, Israel lives on Kibbutz Netzer Sereni. She has a BA in Hebrew literature and a teaching certificate in history from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. In the past, Aviva was a teacher, coordinator of continuing education and training at the volunteer center and served as the administrative manager of the Medical Association. Aviva joined Merchavim in 2002.
Lina was born in Ramla, in Israel and continues to live in Ramla today. She holds a certified bookkeeping and payroll diploma with experience in administrative work. Lina has been with Merchavim since 2014.
